Glasgow Middle School, FCPS

Description: Provided complete civil engineering, site planning, and construction administration for the $30 Million, approximately 193,000 SF Glasgow Middle School replacement facility and associated site improvements. The project required complex construction phasing to build directly on the existing soccer field while maintaining uninterrupted school operations, traffic flow, and safety. The full scope encompassed site grading, pavement design, parking circulation, utility extensions, and rigorous stormwater management for Chesapeake Bay compliance—utilizing bio-retention, sand filters, and underground detention. Additional services included DPE-certified drawings, landscape coordination, and public hearing representation to secure expedited municipal approvals.
Cherry Run Elementary School, FCPS

Parcel Area: 11 Acres
Description: Provided detailed surveying, civil engineering, and site design for a Minor Site Plan package serving the 11-acre Cherry Run Elementary School property in Fairfax County. Scope included comprehensive boundary and topographic surveying, building expansion and parking lot layout, storm drain and sanitary sewer lateral design, site grading, and water main/fire hydrant configurations conforming to Fairfax County and FCPS standards. The project also encompassed full ADA accessibility design across parking areas and play spaces, erosion and sediment control planning, Chesapeake Bay compliance and stormwater management design, as well as targeted construction administration services.
